Attention all 4th & 5th grade families: The Student Council Elections for 2021-2022 school year will be held this month. Any student who is interested in running must have all the requirements submitted by Nov. 10th to Mrs. Gavaris Or Ms. Fueguel. Click title above for the flyer.

Join us for a parent workshop on the grading policy and information about the NYC school account hosted by our Assistant Principals. The workshop will be rescheduled for Tuesday, November 9th at 9am. A zoom invitation will be sent that morning.

Fudge pops will be on sale for $2 and we will be wearing pink for one more friday to support Breast Cancer Awareness.

Ice Cream will be on sale this Friday for $2. Please send in ice cream money ($2) Friday morning. There will only be one flavor on sale (orange push pop). Also, to honor Sickle Cell Awareness Month, we are asking for everyone to show their support and wear red this Friday.

Our PTA September meeting has been scheduled for Monday, Sept. 27th at 6pm. The zoom invitation will be sent via email. PTA is also asking for a minimum donation of $10.00 in Dues from each family. Please click the title above to donate.

Our fun Fridays will begin this week! All students are encouraged to wear their best Bengal attire this Friday. Pretzels will also be on sale for $2. A calendar will be going home soon with all the fun student activities we have planned.

Click the title above for the payment link to secure your child’s spot in RISE or PAWS (the link will open on Tuesday and will close on Thursday of this week.​) Both programs will begin October 4th. Both programs are first come, first serve via payment (RISE has 50 spots & PAWS has 100 spots available)

Summer Rising will be available throughout the City to every New York City student. All programs will be run by local school leaders and trusted community-based organizations. Summer Rising programs are full day and in-person experiences. All programs will create a bridge back to school in the fall and give parents peace of mind as they return to work. Click above for the JCC cornerstone after school program flyer. The flyer includes QR codes with instructions on how to apply online; parents are also encouraged to visit and apply in-person also. Cornerstone also offers programming on some DOE closed holidays.
