Breast Cancer Awareness Week will be held on October 11th through the 17th. P.S. 29 pink BCW tee-shirts are on sale. Tee-shirt orders are due by October 1st, please click above to purchase a shirt. Proceeds will go towards our school donation to the American Cancer society.
Ice Cream will be on sale this Friday for $2. Please send in ice cream money ($2) Friday morning. There will only be one flavor on sale (orange push pop). Also, to honor Sickle Cell Awareness Month, we are asking for everyone to show their support and wear red this Friday.
Our PTA September meeting has been scheduled for Monday, Sept. 27th at 6pm. The zoom invitation will be sent via email. PTA is also asking for a minimum donation of $10.00 in Dues from each family. Please click the title above to donate.
Our fun Fridays will begin this week! All students are encouraged to wear their best Bengal attire this Friday. Pretzels will also be on sale for $2. A calendar will be going home soon with all the fun student activities we have planned.
Click the title above for the payment link to secure your child’s spot in RISE or PAWS (the link will open on Tuesday and will close on Thursday of this week.) Both programs will begin October 4th. Both programs are first come, first serve via payment (RISE has 50 spots & PAWS has 100 spots available)
Summer Rising will be available throughout the City to every New York City student. All programs will be run by local school leaders and trusted community-based organizations. Summer Rising programs are full day and in-person experiences. All programs will create a bridge back to school in the fall and give parents peace of mind as they return to work.
