Every year, all parents, teachers, students in grades 6-12 and select school support staff take the NYC School Survey. The survey helps school leaders understand what key members of their school community think about the learning environment at their school. The information captured by the survey is designed to support a dialogue among all members of the school community about how to make the school a better place to learn. Our annual Book Fair is now available! The fair will run through the end of the day on May 30th. All orders will be shipped home. Please click the above title to start shopping.

We will be having picture day at the school for all in-person grades on Friday, April 30th. Order forms will be sent home soon. All remote students can call the company to set up an appointment and take pictures at the studio. (Yearbook Innovations: (888) 699-7257)

Families Can Apply Now for Exciting STEM Summer Enrichment Programs. Students entering grades 1-12 can apply now to attend programs with STEM Matters NYC. Choose from a wide range of programs offered at sites throughout the city, including three on Staten Island! Spots are limited and the application deadline is Friday, April 23. Click above to apply!

3rd, 4th and 5th grade will be given the option to take the state test exam. Please use the link in the letter attached, by clicking the title above to sign up for the exam. We must know if you are opting in by April 12th.

In honor of Jeanine Cammarata, we will be having a Kindness Day this Friday and we are asking everyone to wear purple. Ice Cream will also be on sale for the students. Please send in ice cream money ($2) by Wednesday. Please click the title above to view the flyer for more detail.

All our remote families now have one more opportunity to transition to blended learning this school year. You can by visiting the Learning Preference Survey, just click the title above
The deadline to change to blended learning has been extended to Friday, April 10.

The middle school application will open the week of January 11 and the deadline to apply is February 9. All middle school screens will be paused for this year.Students will be admitted through a lottery-based system. Create your myschools account. To access your account and add your child to it, you'll need your child's unique MySchools account creation code. You can find this code in their welcome letter. Welcome letters were mailed to all current 5th grade public DOE and charter school families earlier this month. If you have not received a letter, please email me.
