The PAWS program is an enriching and exciting after school program, which offers extended school hours for working parents. The program is designed to shape our students academically, socially and physically. This program is offered on school days, immediately following dismissal ending at 6pm. The program is not offered on half days or on days school is not in session. Only Prek-4 through 5th Grade are eligible. 


The cost for a single child is $200 per month. If you are enrolling more than one child, each additional registrant fee is $175 per month.  

Important Notes:

*Please send your child with a healthy snack, a water bottle and seasonal approprate attire (children will be going outdoors as often as possible) .

*Please send a note to the teacher if you do not want them to attend PAWS on a specific day and to be dismissed at regular dismissal. 

*Please do not bring personal games and toys to PAWS.

Public School 29 After School programs follow the NYC Department of Education Code of Discipline, which subjects all students to possible suspension or expulsion from the program contingent on their infractions. Parents are responsible to review the NYC Discipline Code with their child.*

Parents/Guardians are responsible to have their child picked up no later than the program’s end time. A late sign out book will be placed at the security desk and parent/guardian will be required to sign every day. If a parent/guardian is late 3 times, the child will be removed from the program.*

Parents/Guardians are responsible to submit monthly payments on time. Payments are due the 20th day of the month prior to attendance (ie. September 20th for October participation). Payments are considered late on the 25th day of the month). Late payments (3 times) will result in your child’s removal from the program. If you prefer to pay in advance that is perfectly acceptable.*
