Good afternoon Bengal Families, this is Principal Zapata with your weekly message.
This week is a full week of school with no days off. Please be reminded that we are a uniform school. Black shirt and khaki bottoms.
Parents please join your student’s Google Classroom - in event of a classroom closure or on inclement weather days, Google Classroom will serve as our virtual classrooms.
We will have random COVID testing this week. Please enter your child's consent or refusal in their NYC student accounts. If you gave consent last year, your consent automatically carries over to this September.
Before and aftercare will begin Monday, October 4th, but the number of seats is limited due to social distancing. There will be cost increases due to new coronavirus regulations.
Please be reminded that at drop off, parents should not get out of their cars. We will open the doors and check the healthscreens. Students should be seated on the passenger side of the car and should NEVER exit from the drivers side onto the street.
This Friday begins Bengal Pride Fridays. This week PTA will be selling Philly pretzels. Teachers will be sending information home to parents.
